Armando "Sam" Sandoval

In September 2022, Sam successfully donated 100 gallons of blood! Over the course of 30+ years, Mr. Sandoval has donated over 400 times!! Sam is a faithful donors that originally began donating platelets instead of whole blood back in 2004. Often times Mr. Sandoval is accompanied by his younger brother, Tony & they donate platelets together.
Oscar "David" Rosse

In October 2017, David became the first individual to ever donate 100 gallons of blood at the Coastal Bend Blood Center! Since 1987, Mr. Rosse has been a loyal donor, donating over 600 times!! David makes the trip from Kingsville to Corpus every two weeks to donate whatever blood product is most needed, but typically donates his platelets.

In May 2018, David successfully donated 100 gallons of blood! Over the course of 30+ years, David has donated over 450 times! When we first met Mr. Wik, he was donating whole blood at his church in Corpus and was later asked to consider donating platelets. Mr. Wik understands just how important blood is in our community and faithfully gives every chance he can.
Lucky Morales

In October 2019, Lucky successfully donated 100 gallons of blood! As you may know, Mr. Morales was not only a faithful platelet donor, but also served as the Coastal Bend Blood Center’s Chief Clinical Officer within his 28 years of employment at the Blood Center. Over the course of 30+ years, Lucky has donated over 425 times!
